CUPCAKES we bought from Spot Dessert

Pichet Ong, named one of the Top Ten Pastry Chefs in America by Pastry Arts & Design openned Spot Dessert in the East Village at St. Mark's Square.

My favorite is the Vietnamese Coffee Cupcake.  A vanilla cupcake with salty caramel center and a pronounced Vietnamese Coffee butter frosting.

On the right is the Vietnamese Coffee cupcake sliced to reveal the center filling.
