LIVE SPOT SHRIMP and CRABS IN A TANK

As I was looking for a bag of rice to cook upon arriving in Las Vegas, I was pointed to go to this supermarket at the corner of Spring Mountain and Jones.

Easy to prepare.  Simply put about 1/3 cup of 7UP (if you don't have 7UP, use 1/3 cup of water with 2TB of sugar and tsp of salt) in pan or pot.  Drop in spot prawns, cover and simmer till it turns orange and turn off heat.  Serve with sauce made of rice vinegar with soy sauce, minced garlic and chopped scallions or fish sauce with lemon to dip your shrimp in to eat.  The shrimp roe is edible and is quite sweet!
